Enter the ‘Mind of Mencia’ and immerse yourself in his unique, unflinching take on the world as Carlos Mencia brings his Laughin’ and Lovin’ comedy tour to the Sondheim Center, Friday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m.

Carlos Mencia is undoubtedly one of today’s most popular entertainers and comics. Whether it is man-on-the-street interviews, studio comedy, commer-cial parodies, nationwide sold-out tours, or films, Mencia demonstrates an ex-traordinary ability to connect with a wide and diverse audience.

As the host of Comedy Central’s hit show, “Mind of Mencia,” he mercilessly skewers the current and the cultural topics, whether in the studio or out on the street. Mencia has appeared on several television shows including “In Living Colour,” “Moesha,” “The Proud Family,” “The Shield,” and “MADtv” among others.

Mencia began his career doing stand-up on amateur night at the comedy club, Laugh Factory. He later showcased at The Comedy Store and became a regu-lar, performing nightly. After he found success on the L.A comedy circuit, Mencia was named “International Comedy Grand Champion” from Buscando Estrellas (the Latino version of Star Search). Mencia is now returning to his comedic roots, performing at comedy clubs and theaters across the country.
