Way Off Broadway's summer season starts off with the fun and exciting musical comedy The Music Man written by Iowa's own Meredith Willson; coming to the Sondheim Center on June 15, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. for seven amazing showings!
This deviously entertaining musical is one the entire family will enjoy! The Music Man is directed and musically directed by Way Off Broadway's Artistic Director Randal K. West and Justin Hill; with enticingly energetic choreography by Adam Cates, 2011 Tony winner of Best Choreography for the revival of Anything Goes on Broadway. Cates has already choreographed the most recent national tour of The Music Man with Shirley Jones as Mrs. Paroo. He's delighted to return to Fairfield to help Way Off Broadway with this electrifying production!
This production is packed with talent and featuring Iowa favorite Sean McCall, artistic director for The Old Creamery, Ryan Gaffney and Diana Upton. Plus, don't forget to look for friends and family in the cast; Way Off Broadway held open try-outs earlier this year and found some wonderful local actors!
