Join us for an unforgettable night of laughs as Marc Price, "Skippy" from "Family Ties", and Rain Pryor, daughter of famous comedian Richard Pryor, dish out side-splitting material on Thursday, June 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center for another great Low Dough Comedy Show!
"Wickedly Funny" - Boston Globe
This isn't your average comedic show; Marc and Rain weave their exposure growing up in the public eye with witty tales, and hilarious jokes to bring you Showbiz Kids Comedy Rampage!
Although Marc Price is most commonly known for his role as "Skippy" on the hit 1980s sitcom "Family Ties", Marc has produced numerous television segments and is a co-executive producer and creator of "Green Collar Comedy"; a comedy show featured on Showtime that mixes a healthy dose of humor with important environmental messaging.
As a stand-up comedian Marc Price has opened for top television personalities such as Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld and has toured with Weird Al Yankovic and Carrot Top. He has gained rave reviews for his comedy tour, Beauty and the Dweeb Tour, with Playboy Playmate Julie McCullough from Growing Pains.
Joining Marc Price in this outrageous tour is Rain Pryor, daughter of actor/comedian Richard Pryor. Rain's a dynamic performer with an outstanding, soulful voice and keen sense of humor! She'll have you gripping your sides from laughter in no time!
Rain has starred in the ABC series "Head of the Class" as "Theola June 'T.J. Jones", Showtime's "Rude Awakening" and has guest starred on "The Division" and "Chicago Hope". She has also appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson", "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson". Rain also create and toured in the 2004 award-winning show, "Fried Chicken and Latkes"; a show based on her life experiences.
Not only is Rain a comedian, award winning actress, producer and accomplished Jazz vocalist but she is also a dynamic speaker. Rain is an MS Ambassador and speaks around the world educating families and friends about multiple sclerosis treatment options and therapies in honor of her father, Richard Pryor, who was diagnosed with MS in the late 1980s.
If you're looking for a fun night out with friends or co-workers come check out the Showbiz Kids Comedy Rampage where you'll be bombarded with gut-busting jokes and hilarious hard-hitting humor! Plus, if you forget your sense of humor; don't worry! Marc and Rain have plenty of it to go around!
