Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with lyrics by Tim Rice. First staged on Broadway in 1971, it highlights political and interpersonal struggles between Judas Iscariot and Jesus. The opera is based very loosely on the Gospels' account of the last week of Jesus' life. The rock opera will be Directed by Randal K West, Choreographed by Adam Cates and Musically Directed by Justin Hill. Well-known professional Baritone Stephen Swanson will sing Pilate, Jeff Carty will sing Caiaphas, Margaret Clair will sing Annis and the rest of the cast will be filled by members of the Professional Summer Intern Program and local performers.

Student tickets are available only at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center ticket office window. Students defined: 18 or under and College students who are full-time (12 credits undergrad and 6 credits grad) and who must at the time of purchase show their student ID. Students may purchase only one ticket per ID at the student price.
