Organist Christopher Houlihan brings his virtuosic fireworks to the Sondheim Center on January 29 at 7:30 p.m. Houlihan is hailed as an organ phenom and has already been called one of the brightest stars in the new generation of American organists. Houlihan has rekindled excitement about the age-old instrument among people of all ages and the audience should be prepared to be mesmerized. His playing exhibited supreme musicianship and expressivity beautifully balanced within a controlled sense of timing and impeccable technique. It’s only fitting Christopher Houlihan be the inaugural organist to the Artist Series.
