"Hairspray" with book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, music by Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.  "Hairspray" delighted audiences by sweeping them away to 1960's Baltimore, where the 50's are out -- and change is in the air.  Much beloved professional talent Stan Brown will return to Fairfield to portray "Edna", professional tenor John Smitherman will play Wilbur and local talent Shannon Cochran, who has been performing with WOB since she was 14, will create the role of Tracy.  The rest of the cast will be filled by members of the Professional Summer Intern Program and local performers.  Randal K West will direct and New York choreographer Roy Lightner will stage the dance numbers.
